Dare Oguntoye — building the ladder he once needed.
Mr. Dare Oguntoye is an education access advocate committed to unlocking opportunities for indigent students in Iwajowa Local Government Area of Oyo State. Over the years, he has supported more than 30 students through UTME reimbursement and Post-UTME assistance, helping to ease the financial burden associated with accessing higher education.
He is the Founder and Chairperson of the Okuta Educational Foundation, an initiative established in honor of his late father, John Oguntoye, fondly known as “Okuta,” who hailed from Iwere-Ile. Okuta was a firm believer that education is the ultimate equalizer and should be accessible to all, regardless of financial background.
Through this foundation, Mr. Oguntoye continues to preserve his father’s legacy of kindness, excellence, and service by empowering students and creating pathways to academic success. The impact of this initiative is reflected in the growing number of beneficiaries whose lives have been positively transformed.
To the dreamers, innovators, and hardworking students of Iwajowa Local Government: if you have the drive and ambition but lack the means, this opportunity is for you. Take the first step toward a future of unlimited possibilities.
